You can't imagine how much I envy those of you who will attend. Yesterday, just to misery myself, I was watching the artists in the festival and UFO will be playing the same day that Europe, just a few hours before. Maybe Phill Mogg could join them, I'm sure the band would be really happy since they are strong UFO's fans.

Hello all! I'm quite new on this forum (or to be precise, I've quietly lurked so far :/), but I'm not so new to Europe, having been a fan since Carrie was released (showing my age now) I just bought a ticket to Sweden Rock (could not miss it!), and absolutely can't wait. Hoping to meet some of you guys there!

Hi skihippy and kat! So it looks like the group of us forumers attending the SRF is increasing every day! I really think that this concert will be a very special occasion, for many reasons. Among us there will certainly be the opportunity to make our acquaintance and not being myself a huge fan of the "virtual reality" and such, I am happy to meet in person every member here! Generally speaking, together with some of us, we considered that it's not easy to fix a place and time to gather, because each of us going there has got his/her own target spot, so probably it's better leave people free for spontaneous gathering if it can happen and there will be a chance to! Nevertheless it's such a unique occasion that I will provide my contact to those going there and I know a few fans in person already, so that at least we can say hello with some of you at everybody ease and comfort! After all this wording, what I wanted to say is that I sincerely hope to meet you there! We will have a great time!

I am curious to check out UFO myself (my ignorance is huge, I know) and this is a great opportunity. I have been fascinated by Europe's cover of "Love to love" in the Almost Unplugged album. But given the fact that they play on another stage than Europe probably I will not be able to watch them because it's too important to keep the position on Europe's stage I hope to be able to listen and view UFO at a distance though, at least...

Check it if you can even getting a good place at Europe's show will make this tough (in bocca al lupo)! They are a very great band I started to listen to them as Europe always have talk about them with absolute devotion. Actually I think UFO's been a unlucky band who never had such a success as they deserved.

Less than a month ... Sure will be a great day for the band, ... isn't easy being 30 years in the music world. I know it will be exciting, and there will be in Sweden many people from all around the world who love this band. Maybe they could have made some effort to involve the fans, I don't mean a M & G, I assume it will be a day where members of the band must be very busy, with the press, people of media, ... and it must be very complicated, but could have involved to the fans in other way, eg playing the song most voted on facebook when they asked what song we would like listen to live there? They had more than 1.000 entries it was interesting ... It would be the song decided by their fans ... Even (and this is science fiction) if they had given a song live via its website, to have fans around the world who are not going to be there, they also could be part of this moment, would be a good marketing, if you saw a live song and thrills you, sure you are going to buy the DVD for to see all the concert. Right? Well, ... Fans are also part this journey. Anyway ... I'm so happy for the band, they deserve the best ...

The front cover of EUROPETHEBAND.COM still has a note dated 21/12/12 says 21/12/12 / EUROPE DOES 30TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW AT SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL!Europe will celebrate 30 years in the recording business this Friday june 7th with a one-of-a-kind performance at Sweden Rock Festival! Promising to be the most grandiose in their career, she show will feature songs from their 9-album discography and the show will include special guests! Be sure not to miss this monumental event, which will be filmed for a future DVD release!and nothing more since then about the concert on their official website, only on facebook I remember they announced they were going to play with some special guests ... That day will be in Sweden fans from around the world, ... and many others sadly who would like to be there, but they can't ... well maybe something more, a bit, ... at least an invitation via facebook (few words) to all those people who have the illusion of being there that day accompanying the band. I don't know, but maybe a bit more for their fans ... Let's see what will happens the next days until the day of the concert ...

I am so mad and sad .... because I can't go to this show! Have to work and it is now so darn expensive to travel! Why can't they play in more cities in Sweden and a bit more easier places!
