Current interview (4 February 2017) in the Magazine THE METAL CIRCUS in Spain ... nothing new, but again says that he doesn't like the new Europe's music. Kee Marcello: "Europe is making a style of music that I don't appreciate at all" (this is the title of the interview) www.themetalcircus.com/entrevistas/kee-marcello-europe-estan-haciendo-un-estilo-de-musica-que-no-aprecio-para-nada/ It's good to have you now thanks to a new album. In recent years, every time you have been told about yourself was the biographical book you edited and your "busy" social life of Europe and later years. Now that it has been a few years since you edited the book, do you regret it or was it a story that you needed to air and make known?"I don't regret at all. It was personal catharsis, something that served to cleanse me, so to speak. I do not know if I'll do an upcoming book, but that was a great experience. It's something that everyone should do to gain perspective on their life. " Did you have problems that you exposed in the book? For example, with your old colleagues from Europe."The truth is, no. I have not had any problems. When I did the 'Scaling Up' party in Stockholm, Mic Michaeli and Ian Haugland came in for a drink. There are no problems between us. " The problems would be with Joey I imagine?"Yes, but that is something that has always been there. Today there is no concrete conflict. At least, today, I have a dialogue with his manager and I think that everything will be resolved favorably in the end. Things are as they are. In the end we will reach an agreement on the economic issues that affect us. " ...

Interesting.
Later in the interview he speaks about the rights of the Out of this world and Prisoners in Paradise albums. For what I understand (but my spanish is very poor) there are still pending issues with Sony who claims that they haven't still recovered the money they have invested in those albums. It sounds to me like total b***sh*t! Is that even possible?

Hmm that explains why Kee's face was cut off of the Out of this world cover that was used in the intro film to The final countdown part of the last tour. They (Kee and Joey) are still in some 'battle' according to the interview.

I'd guess that under the same circumstances, if the roles between him and Norum were reversed, the same thing would happen.

I also think PIP would have sold better if they have put it out sooner. The change in popular musical direction at the time with grunge didn't help.
