Not a bad album, but better to call it Baron Boys/PiP-Redux. As most said he should have hired a decent vocalist, gee he sounds tortured... A lot of songs are recycled from the above albums/demos. Especially that ballad Don't miss you much follows almost the exact scheme of Cry for you. Every song can be linked back to a Europe song actually.
Anyway, it made me re-discover the BB demos and re-appreciate Don't know how to love no more, which I believe is a great song that could fit their current style. Who wrote it? Any credits to Kee (because then they'll probably not touch it).
What is the best BB demo around, sound quality wise? I have a very dusty one, but heared better stuff on YouTube. Master Stein, any suggestions?
Take care all.

For those who are interested, ... this is a recent interview to KEE, ... 80% of the interview talks about his relationship with EUROPE ... I think it's a very honest guy, but he is still living in the past, (in my humble opinion) www.eonmusic.co.uk/kee-marcello-eonmusic-interview-september-2016.htmlSome pieces: Would you have liked to have been part of the reunion? Kee: Yeah. F**k yeah! I was so busy at the time that I didn’t really have much time to think about it. I had my own projects going, producing and writing and whatnot, but of course, that was always in the back of my mind that it would be fun to do the ‘revenge on Grunge’ tour! “We’re back, and you’re f*****g dead!” *laughing* I hate Grunge; Grunge destroyed rock and roll. All of a sudden these guys were playing three, four chords, out of tune, in dirty t-shirts coming on stage; “wow, it’s awesome that the crew gets to play! When are the rock stars going to get to the stage?!” If another one-off gig came up, would you be up for joining the band again?Kee: Well, with a one off gig, it comes with conditions though. I could do it; it’s actually a celebration of thirty years [since the release of ‘The Final Countdown’] this year, isn’t it? Also, after this tour I’m doing something called ‘Rock Of Ages’, and we’re doing all the big arenas around Sweden, and when we play at the Globe in Stockholm, after the gig, we’re going to have a release party for the new album at the Hard Rock Café, which is coincidentally exactly thirty years after we recorded the ‘Rock The Night’ video there. So we’re thinking about re-enacting the whole s**t video, with playing on ketchup bottles and all the funny things we were doing! I was actually talking to the CEO of the Hard Rock Café a couple of weeks ago, and he started talking about ‘Rock The Night’, and I said; “you know, if you mention the ‘Rock The Night’ video, people go: “Hard Rock Café”!”, and he said’ “yes, I know”, and I said; “you owe me, big time, m**********r!”

Okay just listened to it a bit more carefull: this is the biggest Seventh Sign ripoff possible The intro, the tempo/beat, Kee's little solo before the first verse, the bridge to the chorus, the bridge to the solo....and the solo itself. It's exactly the same.

Don't Miss You Much - I'll Cry for you Black Hole Star - Enter the sandman intro plus Seventh sign Gone men gone bad - Yesterdays News and in soldier down I think there's a "Burn" vibe ( I'm not 100% sure ) , good song anyway.

But then I read your post and I listened again....and it's definitely Seventh sign! The verse, the bridge to the chorus and even the chorus itself (although with different lyrics ofcourse).

Just listened to the song again and I must agree with you, Ernie Ball: "Black Hole Star" = "Seventh Sign Part II".

So far I recognize these similarities. Good men gone bad - Yesterday's NewsI just listened to a sample of the song in iTunes and I agree with that comparison. But to be fair, we must also remember the huge similarity between "Yesterday's News" and the Rainbow song "No Release" from 1981: (go to 0:45 to hear what I'm talking about)
