Ian's big white drum kit + audience participation drum solo, Joey's 'Final Countdown' jacket, a gig at Solnahallen featuring triangular shaped par can backdrop and mic playing a JX8P would be my dream. A 52 year old Joey wearing his Final countdown jacket?.... I don't think that's gonna happen Stranger things have happened.

I thought of it today but I really hope that On broken wings get's it's well deserved place at the setlists for this tour! To me that song is an important piece of the whole Final Countdown experience. It would be a shame if they let this chance go by.

To me that song is an important piece of the whole Final Countdown experience. It would be a shame if they let this chance go by. I've thought about that too. As far as I know, "On Broken Wings" was only played live on the Final Countdown tour with Kee in 1987, so this would be a great opportunity for the band to finally play it live with John Norum!

I also think it was only played live with Kee in the band. Great version on the Live at Hammersmith vhs! I've read a long time ago in a magazine that Ian loves the song so fingers crossed

Another thing that came to my mind was; if they choose to play the album from start to finish at the beginning of the concert (the same as they did with the Wings shows) they start with The final countdown. Strange thought! The only time they opened their concerts with it was on The final countdown tour. And after that song they play another 2 of their biggest hits; Rock the night and Carrie. Very strange thoughts! But on the other hand it will give them a unique opportunity to create great and rare setlists. Another option is that they choose to play all the songs from the album mixed up throughout the concert. So not as the album order. In that case they can build up to the rather normal endings with Rock the night and The final countdown. All in all very interesting things and I'm really curious how it will turn out!

Another option would be to play the other songs first, and then play the album tracklist in reverse order, like Metallica did when they played The Black Album live in 2012. That means they would start the TFC album set with "Love Chaser" and end with "The Final Countdown".

I've just found this interview www.goldminemag.com/article/band-europe-goes-beyond-final-countdownand Joey says they are planning only between 5 to 10 shows, aren't they too few??? In this case, I hope they'll play one concert per country in very big venues.
